When people wants to send me big things alike a pound or 2 of parts (half kilo or one kilo more or less) then i use to give Dudainc adress in Washington - USA... he born in Brazil and now he is a US citizen, an important guy of Acoustic Enginnering that works there..he use to come to brazil and always he comes with big load of things to me...very kind from him..... others send in small envelopes having card papper, card box...this cartoon used to make appliances boxes..then they cut windows in the box, install transistor inside the holes, cover with scotch tape (adhesive) and send to brazil..and this use to arrive without problems...but heavy things... alike double power transistors..use to be retained and they ask for importation taxes...your case scaped from the customs officer or we have met one that is more clever, less bureaucratic or more young...a less demmanding and more modern tax officer.
When i receive gifts i always publish thanks..and i use to make slide movies and upload them to youtube..type the word " destroyersoueu " in Youtube search bar and you will see 240 small movies, and some of them are thanks and shows the parts i have received.
I am open and transparent guy... i have anything to fear..my adress is posted, my family name and identification card too..my personnal story is published clear and free.... i have no political problems, i was never arrested..i have not money to pay, i have never borrowed money, i have no bills to pay (delayed), i had never problems with the law....i am clear..so..i have anything to hide from others..i have no fears.

and the mids are something you cry for, you know you are in heaven.
The DX Blame beats (in terms of sound) most of the commercial amplifiers I know.
This is not only my impression.
But make sure:
If you have more than one source to connect to the DX Blame and use a Pre-Amplifier:
the Pre-AMP's quality must match the audiophile quality of the DX Blame.

I do think pré amplifiers are not needed, because we can adjust our power amplifiers to the needed sensitivity.
CD and DVD players offers more than 1 Volt of audio and the output impedance is good enougth..so...no reason to have one more circuit (many stages) inside the audio chain...the less we have, the best the sound..each part and stage distorts and creates some problem..the most simple use to sound better.
I will never produce pré amplifier..this is for sure..because my belief and experiences made..i have never had advantages..only disadvantages.
Of course we need pré amplifier to use turntables..but better to use the pickup amplifier with it's own equalization, a class A stage (single transistor) and them plug it into the audio amplifier input volume control..just that...minimize is better.
Tone controls we have in pré amplifiers..they are good for lazy folks...non lazy folks adjusts the speakers (ask Rabbitz) to make them flat or "at your taste".... home acustics should be tweaked...room acoustics needs some touch of absorving and reflective material, depending the case..i use a matress in the back wall, curtain and my sleeping matress too... speaker tweaked for flat inside this home using software to read microphone captures white and pink noises.
If people wants too much...can modify the Blame, using lower supply voltage, using huge condensers in the filtering, keeping sensitivity and introducing bigger resistances in the power transistor's emitters... this will solve some problems and there something you do not need..but if you want.... adjust to gain 2 or 3 and go ahead...do not forget to install a bypass switch and some blend resistances...for sure you will bypass that thing... the power emitter big resistances kills the bass low end...ou gonna need to install pré amplifier output series resistances to be "matching" the power amplifier avoiding too much impedance mismatch.... not a good idea to use pre amplifier..but people can do it..you have only to make these small modifications, to tweak the feedback resistance to decrease the gain and sensitivity... that one in series with 220uf capacitor..the one is 470 ohms more or less...try 3K3.

So, we take 220, we convert to 110, using auto transformer that has several taps..and them microprocessor and relays goes swithing these tapes when voltage variates...the problem is that voltage does not variates..and when this happens, the plus and minus 15 percent tolerance of these things are not good enougth..or..in other words, are worse than computer SMPS .
The computer SMPS can tolerate 50 percent less voltage and adjusts.....ahahahahaha..why to use that stupid regulator...ask brazilian, my people.... there are 100 millions computers, each one HAVE TO USE THE HELL voltage stabilizer.... people watch you as stupid..they think you are an idiot when you ask them

Very nice indeed. Have you noticed any change in the audio quality, when you ran the DX-BLAME at the B&W , and any cheap speakers?
I respect the hard work done by Mr:Carlos for thins amplifer.

Maybe you expect something clever or sophisticated but no, it is simple with maybe a little gentle humour to make some suggestions more easy to swallow or respectful. We all do this without meaning to be hard to understand. 🙂

Well, I have tried hard to make words short and simple. I do not believe that there is more than one expression that you can not understand.
I also believe that the fool Google translator is a big problem here. Other members reading the thread (in your differrent language) please tell me by private mail, I think, if there are still problems. Baby talk is not right at my age.😕
Perhaps it is this expression:
"We'd rather see you in one piece, please" but it means just that. We don't want to see you in many pieces like when there is an accident, explosion etc.
