before I order some lamps, I'd like to know is it possible to test lamp outside the projector and how. What kind of voltage should be applied to it and is it dangerous to burn it while not fitted in projector. I'm asking it because I have one projector Infocus X2 with power supply burnt out (I think it's just the fuse), and on the other projector the lamp is working some time when turned on (a few minutes) and then shuts down. So if anybody know the working voltage and its shape (if AC it is probably sinusoidal, but is it?, or should it be current source for driving the lamp) please post here.

Hi yvh, I'll try to test it to know how many burners do I need. How many working hours have these lamps you send (for infocus X2). Where can I find some instructions/info/pictures about relamping?

Hi Ywh. I have a Sharp XR10X bulbs that I was needing replaced. Do you sell with the reflector and bulb or just the bulb only? Also, if just the bulb only, could I send my reflector to you to have new bulb put in? How much do you bulbs run? Do they work OK in United States?

YWH- Can you get a ballast for an Epson 820P? I have a new lamp but the ballast I think needs to be replaced as it will not fire the lamp. Everything else seems to work fine. My projector is this one: Epson Projectors: Epson PowerLite 820p 3 LCD projector Please let me know and what the cost would be. Thanks.

I'm new to this forum. Recently I bought one cheap Panasonic PT-LC50E with the lamp still working but after I power up, the lamp started to shut off after 5 seconds. I restarted again, it lights up and shut off..and the indicator panel appears with "F-L" and then "C-O" continuously. I check the operating instructions which stated that the indication was for cooling fan not working but I checked that it is operating fine...what seems to be the problem..is it the lamp unit or the cooling fan cover switch..? I've tested the switch which is in good condition....can anyone help me on this ?
