NHT parts giveaway!!!
I'm putting this in the Burning Amp thread since it is temporally related and was cleared by Variac (Mark).

Location NHT 6400 Goodyear Rd Benicia CA 94510
NHT will be giving away a large quantity of sample loudspeaker drivers, electronics components, transformers, crossover parts and some complete and semicomplete development loudspeaker systems. There is no published list of parts that will be available. The loudspeaker systems in question were used for product development and for the most part will be complete. Most of these systems are from more than five years ago and NHT no longer needs them. They will be raffled off with a limit of one system per person. The driver samples are all of the place from 1" tweeters to 12" woofers. There will be a very large number of about 3" diameter flared ports available. It is strongly suggested that people bring cloth bags to put parts into.
There will be a $10 cash only charge at the door to cover NHT's expenses.

I'm seriously bummed that I won't be able to make this year's Burning Amp. I'll be on a plane to Nashville for work. Won't make it to Benicia for the NHT blowout, either. 🙁

I have to be in Boston Monday for work, so I am flying up to San Francisco Saturday afternoon, attending BA on Sunday, then catching a red-eye (11:50 PM, arriving 8:30 am) flight to Boston from SF. Some of us have our priorities straight. 😉
What I didn't mention is that I'll be flying back from a week's vacation with my wife in Puerto Vallarta on the Friday before BA, which leaves me a 1 day turn-around before flying out again. I think my priorities are in fine shape! 🙂

I think it is important to mention to all participating in exhibitions - Please bring your own power strips and all cables you would need. Previous years I was supplying all power distributing boxes and this year I am not able to do it, so it is very important that you bring your own. Presidio Yacht Club does not have too many outlets, so if everyone brings at least one, we will be fine.
I am looking forward to see you all again this year! There are only 4 days left!

BUT, if you have a pretty decent CD player or SACD player it would be very helpful if ytou could bring it, as we need sources upstairs and down ..

Anyone from , or passing through Berkeley able to pick up John Curl and bring him to the show?
A couple of versatile preamps would also be great - we don't need a lot of gain, unless we are trying out the F4 again this year. 🙄
I mentioned in the other BAF thread here that I will be stopping through Albany/Berkeley around 1:00 PM to pick up a friend before heading over the Sausalito. PM me if John needs a ride.
