Hi Dear`Sir I got all the files. One small question can I use MJE350 and MJE340 instead of using MJE15030 and MJE15031? If yes will it effect the quality?

That is probably enough, but I am talking about openings where air is geting into the housing! If fans are sucking air from the case, that air has to get in somewhere? (or fans will soon start blowing out the "white smoke"! 😱😀)
You will have files for MODUS soon!

First try to provide MJE15030/15031 if you can! Possible good replacements are 2SC5171/2SA1930 (same case and pinout) then BD241C/BD242C (same case and pinout but lower gain) or 2SB649A/2SD669A (different case and pinout!!! hence, problems with PCB and montage).
MJE340/350 are not recommended replacements.

If I remember well, I already highlighted before that I never have an opportunity to hear CROSER amp. That’s because prototype has been built by one young enthusiast member “micro” from ACCO Forum in neighboring country Croatia. That is the only unit built and tested up to now as far as I know. I have too many designs and too little time to try them all by myself, but from time to time some of my younger friends accept to try some of new untested designs. So it is not uncommon (in my case! thou) to design something but that unit being prototyped by another person sometimes far away! Therefore, all I know about how unit is performing and it’s sound is from those guys that actually built them. That is also the case with CROSER. I could eventually ask that guy “micro” to write few words about CROSER here?! What I know is that his impressions about amp are encouraging i.e. very positive! How about a comment on the sonics of CROSER?
Modus transistors
Hi sir.
I will try my best to find transistors as you explained. One more thing can I use 2SC2073/2SA940 ? actually I am asking because these transistor are available.

Those should be OK, they are not ideal but should do the job nicely.can I use 2SC2073/2SA940
DEAR JAYA,
I AM A NEW FELLOW TO THIS FORUM.
I AM TRYING TO BUILD SOME HIGH QUALITY AMP(ULTRA LOW DISTORTION AND HIGHLY STABLE WITH MEDIUM POWER BETWEEN 60-100WATT).
ON THIS BASIS I STARTED A THREAD NAMED "60W AMPLIFIER". SOME EXPERTS REPLIES SUGGEST ME TO GO FOR "DX AMP". And I myself find good comments regarding medium power af amp by T. GIFFARD.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ADVICE ?
YOUR VALUABLE COMMENTS WILL BE ALLWAYS REMEMBERED.

Hi “meledath” !
First of all, one fact should be clear: “ultra low distortion” is not automatically prerogative for top class sounding amplifier. That “game” is a fine balance of many factors including low distortion.
All those designs already suggested are more than good and I could eventually suggest my designs MODUS (ex TECHNO) and STUDIO to be added on that list. Many enthusiasts built my designs and I never received negative reports… that is all I have to say, for, I deeply disrespect a “self-promotion” attitude so frequent this days. Let other people talk about my designs… not me, that is more honest!

sorry for using capital letters.
Sir Boraomega,
Have you got my mail ? i sent the same through DIY.

I am using these ones.... was a gift from Anonimous... i have more than 12 pairs
The advantage is the gain..all them 120.... the NPN is 120 and the PNP is 125...this is nice... people told me they are almost the same as 2SC5200 and 2SA1943...i am happy with them.
I use to cut the leads..they used to broke there, in the past that was the weak point..now a days they are better...but... i use to cut and connect using flexible wires..to avoid to bend and broke the leads very close the the plastic case.
regards,
Carlos

Carlos cut their legs because he was afraid that they might “get legs” and walk away from him! Those transistors, now such short and fat, (vertically challenged 🙂 ) are best suited for some version of SUMO amp! Tra… Tra… 😀
Sir Boraomega & carlos,
thanks for the reply.
you both are very nice to me and my Quires. These MJL transistors are very costly 1/3rd of 2SA) and not available easily. But i will try and get it imported. what about putting ssm2220( dual pnp transistor ic) in place of matched pair bc556b
and ssm2210 ( dual npn transistor ic) in place of 2n5551.
i will use metal film resistors for construction.
but what you prefer for the red led ? specification needed.
finaly about the capacitors. Electrolytic ones are not a problem.
but what about other low value caps ?
is they are mkt , polystyrene or polycarbonate type with low tolerance values and high voltage?
i found them also very costly.
once again thanking you both ,
