Im views will change when evidence supports any other view. As I said before you base your opinion faith, my opinion is based on testing and science. One changes with new evidence, one does not....I welcome any valid proof and I have zero concerns if Im proving wrong.

You have done zero controlled tests, you have never validated any of your experiences. Do you even know how to measure any difference.
If you have done nothing validate your subjective conclusion how do you know you are not being fooled? You are aware that Audio is the biggest placebo hobby? Its up there with Diet Pills.
To 100% believe what you hear without a double check is delusional in the world of science. Its fine if you just want to enjoy on your own but its foolish to post that same mantra on any forum that has science involved.

This isn't the "world of science," Doug. Unlike a journal, here anyone can say anything (thank goodness!). Curly has no evidence and has made it abundantly clear that he's not interested in evidence. So what good is ragging about it repeatedly?
Quite the contrary. "What science can't explain" is a delightful path to tenure. I admit that my career has been in science rather than selling hifi gear, so perhaps I don't have your deep insight into how science works.
I know what sounds good after spending so many years around the best audio gear on the planet. I know that far too many designs that were touted as the best, with great engineering behind them sounded like crap, regardless of how they measured. They did not last long in the business. How many of you have sat down and listened to your equipment vs. the best that is in the market?
I have seen a great many DIYer's that thought that they had created the masterpiece of engineering, walk away after listening compared to some of the finest gear. Then again I have witnessed some incredible equipment from people that understood how to use science to benefit the music, with careful selection of components based upon how their circuits sounded. It is a combination of art and science. The ones that do it right, know this in my opinion.
How can you be sure it is an improvement when all of these are CONTROLLED by the mixer. If you extend the ambience, increase the height, expand the depth you have done nothing except mess up the mixers hard work period. Says the hypocrite who does critical listening through a surrund sound decoder 🙂
