Power supplies for B1
My brother gave me a Pass B1 board.
Now that he has his working I thought I would look at mine.
I am going to use this space to record all of the links and tricks. Some of the links will be very basic.

This DIYAudio thread is a must read for regulator design. I may go a bit simpler, but I love the CSS, and the shunt seems solid.

Here is a simpler Shunt.
But it looks like the basis for Sales.

Despite the answer that the B1 passive filter negates the shunt, it seems desirable to have some capacitance local unless the regulator is in the chassis with the B1. Also the Low Z is still an incredable feature.Posted 11th February 2010 at 04:03 PM by DougL

Here are the Equations for Salas Shunt V1
ICCS=(Vf3Leds-Vgs)/R1 Decide target current, derive needed R1.
Vref=VfD1+0.6V=Vout Can be Zener or Leds. Measure their Vf at about 6mA
add them up in two matched strings for +/- regs
The finally got tired of answering for each voltage and current LOL

Salas answered my question V1n / Vout 6 to 10 volts.
