P.Audio System Co., LTD
P.Audio BMD26S - P.Audio BMD26S 1" high frequency driver. P.Audio BMD26S speaker components available at US Speaker.
Haven't heard too many compression drivers for under $100 that I could live with. I recently bought one of the $50 Celestions CDX1-1445s, based on prior experiences with the CDX1-1425, which was a steal at $35. (it's $100 these days, due to the cost of neodymium)
Bill Waslo has posted some measurements of the 1445 here (http://www.diysoundgroup.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=3e7f1c325dae97f639a00cf2d1fd9e8e&topic=19.15). Augerpro has posted measurements of the CDX1-1425, and I have too.

well since good horn systems cost around $70-150K in ready to go state , budget in $7-$15k for Diy or don't bother .This is my current take on the subject. Rgrds, L
well...we start with 1000$ and move from there.

I suggest FaitalPro HF100, and build your own waveguide
done right it could beat even the top budgets
diy budget for two, 150USD
Agree. (I've been coveting those HF100 as tweeters). I put together my Altec VOTT system for much less than $7K. I don't think you'd have to spend that much retail for new parts on a good horn system

If you DIY and choose carefully, it does not have to cost a fortune.
