Yes i still working on im waiting for some parts, as tube soket and sollen 1µF metallized film caps. I think my gain clone wil run first without the buffer, but as you seen TX are in place an read to power my 2 Sovtek valves.

Still getting nowhere. I get a "page could not be exhibited" message, from Explorer and Opera. Is the URL right?

Note at all, I will try the buffer next month, I want to run at first without valves buffer. After 2 weeks holliday i will put the buffer in, tranny for valve/filament are ready.karma said:i think the next episode is the one with the tube buffer meet's the gainclone.

I'm not sure why I never saw this tread, but in my mind, it represents one of the key spirits of this site. You have taken a proposed deisgn (GC) used available resources (BrianGT layout and board discussions) and made a well implemented product for yourself. I like your methods, on-line documentation to help others and your specifc implementation.
I say this thread one of the best I've read of late. I'm just sorry I only discovered it tonight. I look forward to the 'next episode' as it is now a series I will watch for.

My GC is yet complet. DC Offset : 26.5mv and 6mv and no hum
I only tested it a few mn on full range speaker base on Fostex 103s. The sound promise to be greati nead more time listening but the sound looks to be really nice, not boomy, great détails, aerated, amazing sound stage.

It's a nice little amp. It's under my SS amp (a zenquito) but the GC has à few minutes of acting and the difference his not as night and day, its quite close..
