ELEKIT TU-8850 SE KT170 SET AMP

So the TU-8550 started putting out a serious smell today. Something is getting very hot. It sounds fine, but I pulled it out of the system and will tear it apart later. I've been running it pretty hard since I finished it last month, but I'm surprised something is failing so soon. We'll see.

OK, I haven't checked the voltages yet, but PTC103 is fried. I don't see anything else with visible signs of heat stress. I'm hesitant to fire it up again with an obviously bad part. Something is drawing too much current in the power supply. Should I replace the PCT then check voltages? Any idea where to get the part? I can't find it anywhere outside China (maybe Japan?).

You need to check the reference test points to locate your issue
This is what Mr Fujita said:
PTC does not get damaged so easily as you know.
The withstand voltage of this PTC is 600V,
and the amp voltage is max. 400V, so
it is hard to think the PTC can be damaged in any way.
It is possible that if this PTC is activated so many times
it gets easy to become active.

Hi Victor. Just want to let you know that I got Covid shortly after you graciously sent me the part for my 8850. So I haven't had a chance to change out the part. It'll be a few more weeks until I get enough strength back, but I do appreciate your help. Thanks.
