haha its just i have to buy all the parts and i was piecing the boards the other day and they were reaching around $100 and with the transformer that's another $70 let alone the case im eying that is going to cost $270.
You could assemble a classic that will last a long time or do a quickie
so here is my plan im going to go.
Transformer
AN-6232
Bridge Rectifier
GBPC3510 Fairchild Semiconductor | Mouser
Power Caps
380LX682M063K042 Cornell Dubilier | Mouser x6
out to the pair of boards with the MJH6284

You've nailed it, don't forget incoming ac line filter
this amp was in exit just TIP142
do not have TIP147?
can this work in 2 ohm load?
Thank you. You just need TIP142. Will work in 2 Ohms assuming this is nominal. Keep us up to date. Enjoy your build.
Thanks for the updates, hope 1DIFFQC is already whispering sweet honey drops into your ears
Hmmm--- Not happened alot. Just picked up a old Nad 216thx amp. Will take out the internals and populate some 1diffqc boards and make them fit into the chassis.. Well that is the plan.
Well i got my transformer and all the power supply boards but since my truck is almost dieing on me and holidays coming up this is taking the back burner for the time being.
Harrison,
I have to admit that my boards are sitting 98% completed and I am still waiting to get to where I have a pile of transformers so I don't have to purchase more. I will be getting there soon and will complete the first project and then start on the other set of boards you sent out, the simple model amplifiers.
Best wishes,
Steven

Dear Harrison,
thank you for providing asc files for testing. On opening it there are many missing symbols. Are you able to provide it too (except Cordell-Models.txt which are to be downloaded from Bob's homepage)?
Thx, Toni
