Okay, crazy as i am.
I just ordered 4x DIY 28B SST2 with parts and 4 power board
This i wanna build to run my Infinity IRS Beta when my dedicated room is finish build.
So this will be a long time project to get all 4 blocks finished.
But all tips from you will help alot.
All from with Toroidal Transformer, to transistor type and matching.
Also, if anyone find the 28B clone cabinet ill be lucky man

I ordered the same PCB a while ago. What remains is to check the PSU part and match the PN100/PN200. Got som from China but I'm not sure they are originals..
Btw, I drew a schematic of the board, maybe of help while debugging.

The DOA is strictly a preamp while the 4B is a power amp.
Or do you mean taking 33V from the 4b?
Or do you want to run 4B on 33V like the DOA33?

Sorry, my mistake. Q6 says 2N5210 (which is correct) but it is shown as a PNP transistor. Thank you for pointing it out!

Afraid I am not an expert on 4B-SST, but I guess it has enough current in the +/- 33V lines to handle this card.
Maybe someone can explain this more adequately.

If I replace the 33v 1w zener diode in 4b with a 3w 33v zener diode

I don't think replacing the zener will change anything. The zener is just a voltage reference and the darlington transistor configuration draws a very small amount of base current.
The MJE15034 is responsible for delivering enough current, and must have a sufficient heatsink.
I think this regulator has enough current capabilities to supply an additional DOA33.
Try it, and just feel the MJE15034 not heating too much. I don't think it will.
