Well, I spent yesterday afternoon in listening and I must say that I'm impressed with the sound. Sound stage is huge. I think that the sound is even better than my first KSA50. Maybe, the reason is higher rail voltage. Bias is set at 325mV/0,5ohm. After two hours heatsinks are warm but not hot
Hi neychi what voltage did you use for this please.

+/- 48V loaded
Finally finished both amps.
Very happy with the outcome!
Hi Bonanza,
Are these cases from the diyaudio store? How do you like them

Nice work any how.No, I had them custom made..
At last. Enough for convection cooling. Works well, full bias. Modified with to ekstra output transistors on each half period. Twelve on each channel. Added ekstra driver for each pair. Biased to 0.4 A on each transistor = 2.4 A. The heat transfer to the heatsink improved dramatically with 2mm aluminium oxide insulators plus thermal paste on both sides. The transistors conduct much more evenly. Measure almost the same voltage over each emitter resistor. Way better than the Silpads.
