LM3886 Schematics + PCB

that layout is correct coz ive used that layout and schematic on my LM3886 build and its working perfectly, no hum/hizz ~10mv dc offset on both channel

upon inspection of your build, the 10uf capacitor is mounted in reverse polarity, negative side(striped) of the capacitor should be on top while the positive is at the bottom. kindly check

Hi Drahcir

I Check and make the 10uf cap in correct position as you mention. But steel problems is same. amplifier got mute after 1 second every time I turn on power supply. also I removed all toot-pest i used as thermal pest. I checks all connection their is no fault. What is the problem

What kind of zeneer diode are ypu using? Is that 16v?
if ypu can only post a clearer picture of the top side and bottom of your amp we can probably have something to look into and check for problems and defects

i am using 16v zeneer diode , is it ok ? i am using +/-30vdc when apply
load it drops to +/- 27v dc . thanks for help:)

Use 8V2 zener instead 16V.

HI
I change Zener 8v2 instead 16v as per your suggestion. But problem remain same. Then I replace zener diode with jumper. And amplifier mute problem is solved. But sound is very low just like mobile phone.
I am gave input of cell phone and laptop too but loudness just like laptop sound. Now tell me how to increase sound .

Hi All

Can some one give me solution For my amplifier problems. I tried Remove Zinar diode, replace ziner diode with jumper. but amplifier steal got mute after every time I turn on power supply.
this time I try to remove -ve supply rail after that amplifier work and didn't get mute. But output sound is very low. What is the solution

Hi Apex

In your first post in schematics shows C4 +ve terminal connected to pin no 9.But in layout their is no connection between them? Am i wrong or their is problem in layout shown hear. Please correct me if I wrong.

what do you mean C4 +ve terminal connected? they are not connected in the diagram, take note of the dot (.) in the schematic diagram, if there is, then its connected. i think your ic is busted,do you have a spare ic? might as well remove the old and replace it with a new one

hello drahcir
please check the schematic this shows c4 +ve terminal conected to pin no 9 of ic LM 3886

you know what, ive been using that schematic ang pcb layout and its been working great after i finished it, tried 24-0-24 and 15-0-15v transformer and it still sounds great. so instead of finding a fault in the schematic because your amp doesn’t perform as it should be why not check each of your components and see if you got the right values for it. check your pcb too for shorted traces.

did you saw my attached schematic ?
i am not trying to find fault but to clear my doubt .
i check all components and track and everything is fine ,and i know that
their are many people who made this amp successfully. but what about schematic is it wrong or not ?

In a properly drawn schematic if there is dot then the wires are connected.

And if the wires cross and there is no dot then they are not to be connected.

When a schematic is drawn where a line crosses over the top of another one, one of the lines is supposed to have Loop in it where it is crossing the second line.

That is the proper way to represent such a situation in a schematic drawing.

But, Many schematics fail to follow this simple rule and that is what can make them very confusing if you are not already familiar with the circuit that you are trying to build.

FWIW
