Hi Micro Audio, a.k.a. Cresnet, a.k.a. Sam(i), a.k.a. Boldaud (Smart Sky), (a.k.a. microsim?) it's a pity you rejected the new SMPS concept I developed on inspiration following your help request. Did you manage to fix the random failures in your schematic?

@ Eva,

MicroAudio is my business name
Cresnet is my Diyaudio nickname
Sami is my real name
Boldaud (Smart Sky) is my Gmail email
MicrosiM is my nickname at my forums

I don't think that there is a problem with the above.

2- It is not a problem to get consultancy by anyone, like you for example. and I paid you for that, this is business.

3- And it is not a problem to reject your offer because I don't need help anymore, and I don't want to fix the problem with my schematic.

And let us see if anyone here will post anything about any failure into any SMPS I sold from years.

Please don't disturb my thread again.

Friend Eric, Ignorance, please ;)

Hi !

As I'm having a lot of spare time home these days (you know why I guess),
I've started working again on my V4H stereo amplifier.

I have one Shaan's V4H PCB populated and locked on its heatsink
and its PSU (Cresnet 600 +/0/- 50V) working well, but not both interconnected yet.

The PSU doesn't have 0V and Earth connected.

I intend to build a dual mono enclosure, and I'm aware of the Earth / ground issue connection to the heatsinks.

I need my chassis and 2 heatsinks connected to Earth, but according to Shaan,
also connected to 0V to avoid amplifier's oscillations.

What should I do if I don't want to have my 2 channels amplifiers pcbs and SMPS connected in my enclosure ?

Could you please provide a schematic of the ground breaker circuit (if needed - or other solution) for my setup ?

Did I make myself clear ? Thanks in advance

JMK

Hi Sami,

Can you please tell us more about it.

Similar to your regular ultra quiet 600W ?

Thanks
Eric

Dear Eric,

Yes, it is with the below-added features

* Standby switch input eliminates the need for mechanical switches.
* Onboard standby power supply with two outputs (+12VDC & +3.3VDC).
* Amplifier enable output (OPTO Isolated).
* DC Error input.
* AUX1 Unregulated output +-24 VDC (Via IDC Connector)
* AUX2 Regulated output +-5VDC to+-18VDC
* IDC connector can select regulated or unregulated AUX voltage via jumpers.
* Bootstrap VDR supply output +12VDC ~ +18VDC (Completely isolated output).
* Accepts 20000uF extra capacitance per rail.

Hope that helps
