FS AR PL-100 Subwoofer Plate Amplifier, NOS

AR PL100 100W Class AB Subwoofer Plate Amplifier

Acoustic Research built the PL100 100 watt Class AB subwoofer plate amplifier to power a ported 8" subwoofer. Not only does this amplifier feature speaker-level (also known as high-level) inputs for signal, it also has stereo line-level (also known as RCA) inputs, as well as an LFE input for connection to the subwoofer output of a home theater receiver.

A variable 50 to 150 Hz low-pass crossover is included, as-is 0/180° phase control and an Auto On circuit. Spring-loaded wire terminals are offered for both input and output. Subwoofer volume is controlled by a plate-mounted control, and 1/4", as well as 1/8" female disconnects are pre-installed on the amplifier power output. A 6 ft. power cord is permanently attached.

• Power requirements: 115 VAC, 60 Hz

I have three 8 ohm Peerless woofers that were used by NHT in the early 90s. They are in mint condition. I don't have specs on them as they were OEM for NHT.
