Hey there, I came across this listing while searching for parts for my 102/2s. I really really really need these. I can pay via paypal as soon as my check hits the bank this Friday. Let me know if they're still available. I just finished re-foaming the lows, so these are the last bits I should need!

Thanks!
Jason

One item of disclosure that you just reminded me of, one of the bi-amp jumpers is missing. I am using speaker wire as the jumper.

It's funny, I've never bi-amped anything before. Always just pumped enough power through them.

They sound better bi-wired IMHO. If you have channel A and a channel B on your amp give it a go I think you will be surprised.

Cheers,
Bob

FS: Minebea/Onkyo/AR Dome Tweeters

I am selling a stash of tweeters, great for DIY use. I actually have an ARXP62 bookshelf pair that uses these and they sound very good. Went a little overboard with the extras!

Here's a description from the web with specs.

$20 each + shipping. I have about a dozen of these tweeters from projects that never happened. Pictures to come soon.

AR Acoustic Research XP series tweeter, horn loaded with 10mm deep front flange. 1" Textile Dome SuperTweeter - NOS, never installed or used.

This tweeter was originally used in the Acoustic Research XP series (models ARXP42, ARXP52, ARXP62, ARXP242C, ARXP408 and ARXP410P) and was manufactured by NMB Minebea Onkyo. It is designed for rear mounting with a 10mm baffle thickness (see dimensional drawing). The AR XP series used a sculpted foam to surround the tweeter. This is a great sounding supertweeter design, with frequency response extended from below 800Hz to nearly 40kHz. Recommended crossover is 12dB/octave at 2-3kHz for best performance.

  • Active surround style diaphragm with 33mm outer diameter, supertweeter frequency response out to 40kHz
  • Pre-coated textile diaphragm for improved consistency
  • Damped cavity in pole for lower resonance frequency and reduced distortion
  • Ferrofluid cooled voice coil for improved power handling
  • Optimized horn loaded face plate for linear response
  • Magnetically shielded with bucking magnet and steel shielding cup
  • 105mm diameter face plate (4.125")
  • 80mm diameter hole size (3.15")
  • 36.2mm depth (1.4")
  • Frequency response 800Hz-40kHz
  • Recommended Frequency Range 2kHz-40kHz
  • DCR 4.5 ohms
  • Fs 750Hz
  • Efficiency 94dB @ 2.83V/1m
  • Efficiency 92dB @ 1W/1m
  • Rated Power Handling 100WRMS via EIA RS-426B for 8 hours with passive crossover
  • See diagram, frequency response, impedance and distortion curves in uploaded pictures for additional information regarding this excellent 1" silk dome tweeter.

FS: AR 8" woofers, shielded, from the PS Series

These woofers are shielded replacement woofers for the larger AR towers. They are 8" and were used as LF woofers, some times side-firing. Sometimes bookshelf. Sometimes dual woofers. I don't have any specs on them at the moment, but will keep searching.

Most common model that used them was the AR328PS. This tower speaker is actually considered to be pretty good. Model D01-0007

$50/pr, I have multiple pairs.

Hello, DIY people! I am talking to you!
