I guess I could have added that; MOSFETs' being a voltage driven device and Bipolar being a current driven device, your not going to make a MOSFET current mirror. An opposing pair of current sources maybe but a current mirror like the traditional BJT type does not achieve the same current balancing performance.

Take your time and read the thread UGS Power : it's U.P. you will found all the info here.
Ian,
If you feel this thread is a little cold...............have a look at this but
sit down first.

hi I gave a quick read to this thread and I think I understand that this amp UGS after the first w in class A become Ab, right ?? BUT FROM WHAT W MAXIMUM ON 8 OHM AND 4 OHM ?? THANK YOU
Yes it can operate in class A and then after that AB. You can decide when it goes to AB by the amount of bias you set.
8 ohm and 4 ohm are both possible.
what is its maximum power in W?Yes it can operate in class A and then after that AB. You can decide when it goes to AB by the amount of bias you set.

Read the first post.
P.S. with this end you must use only balanced connections, or you can also use unbalanced (rca) ?? THANK YOUok thanks to everyone, I did not know this project ...
I believe you can bridge one of the balanced connections to ground and you're good to go; albeit at a worse performance level.
I do have to say this is a doozy of a DYI project. A bit beyond me, so I'ts probably just as well I've never been able to get the boards or gerbers
...and I've still the UGS pre to do one day... (must learn to smd solder!)

hello, ok ... but, question, the 2sk389-bt and the 2sj109-bt year 7 pins in the gerber file of the pcb and so .. while the LSJ74 / LSK170 JFET in the year only 3 .... are they okay? thank you
