System Pictures & Description

Westlake SM-1 / HR-7 / TM3

Hi Ken
I know your posts are a few years old but i just saw them and i am totally crazy about Westlake sound systems since i worked for many weeks on the SM 1 at Westlake´s Studio D in LA.
I would love to purchase some used ones if they are even on the market or the TM 3 or the HR-7 at least.
I am currently using in my Studio for Mastering the Tower version of the ATC 150
Any idea where i could find some Westlake´s

Best from Germany
Ralf

The cabinet side walls are made of plywood, 23mm thickness, glued with high pressure. Veneer santos palisander - carefully selected 12 sheets, matching all four sides. Finally lacquered four times with sanding and then polished to look like mirror. All work is done entirely by hand.

Cabinets has vertical and horizontal partitions, which is made by CNC machining (including top parts and front panel). Soles are cut by CNC laser machining, then they are sanded with sanding machines, to take smooth surface. After all they are chromed.

Drivers:
Midboss: Peerless HDS-164 PPB
Tweeter: SB Acoustics SATORI/TW29R

Sounds very gently, do not shout. Vocals are deep and soft, even listening sharp music ears are not tending.
