I’ve just dipped back into this thread. One day hoping to find a decent dual implementation for this chip - DIY board. Soldering A-OK. Time, not so much now! New son!

Have you checked out Ryanj threads? I believe he has dual I2StoPCM pcb that he uses to drive 2 of his D3 TDA1541a pcbs.
