Default Fabulous day with ultimate geekery

Thanks so much to all who made Burning Amp happen. It was great to talk and watch and listen to so much stuff and to a lot of interesting people.

Especially interesting to hear presentations from Nelson Pass and Douglas Self: two great designers with very different perspectives.

Also great to see so much hardware built following a wide range of strategies and priorities.

Congratulations to the organizers for a great event!

tim

Another DIY'er giving thanks to the great people who put this on. This was my first real audio event that I went to since joining the hobby. It was a fantastic experience and I really enjoyed getting to dork out with lots of participants.

Thanks for sharing the photos! But you know that we always want more

So I truly hope that somebody made a video of at lest some part of the event. My favorite would be Nelson Pass presentation, or Zen Mod having fun..

I think that was ZM asking Colin to grow some beard while he shaves so they could swap places and be finally adopted...

Did anyone recover a black briefcase at BA with some records and CDs. It had my name on a tag on the handle.

Thanks very much for the photos. I needed a fix.

The Beast With a Thousand JFETs is really awesome looking.

It's the ENIAC of amplifiers.
