The Burning Amp Festival will be in Silicon Valley this year!!!
Interana Headquarters, 3rd floor Evernote Building,
305 Walnut St. 3rd floor, Redwood City, CA 94063 in Silicon Valley.
Saturday October 17th, 2015, 10AM to 10PM
This big new venue allows more listening rooms for many more systems to audition so we are asking exhibitors to demo their previously built and shown DIY components along with their latest creations. We want DIY turntables, Tube amps, Pass amps, Self amps, Amps designed by your Self. Speakers of all types! I'll start another thread for organizing systems..
Nelson Pass will present his latest breakthrough, plus 3 other presentations. Siegfried Linkwitz will demo his LS Studio Speaker system with miniDSP crossovers and Bruno Putzey's Hypex amps all day.
We'll get all the rooms organized in the next couple of months so we all know what will be where,
Food and Snacks provided, Lunch available. Exhibitors please arrive by 9AM, Reception at 8PM Hang out with the stars...
More information at BurningAmp : The annual audio DIY event for audiophiles who make their own equipment, components for amps, speakers, and parts.
Let's organize on this new thread:

Cool! Right here in my hometown, one week after my anniversary, so no excuse not to go, even if 95% of the stuff discussed will be over my head...
Wow! That sounds like a great venue. Good internet access? Live on YouTube perhaps?
Good going, Mark 🙂
Good going, Mark 🙂
......saturday-october-17th........
I forgot to ask earlier. Is the place booked already or is it still in the planning stage ?
Thanks.
I'm high alright, but not on false drugs. I'm high on the REAL thing- powerful gasoline, a clean windshield, and a shoeshine. Over.
Dam... all these years I've been spouting, "A full tank of gas, a clean windshield and a shoeshine"... I may have had that wrong! Blasphemous! May the Lord have mercy...
Checking calendar. Hope to attend, and help out. Can bring my F5 and/or Pensil 10p speakers if needed.
Shoes for industry!
Shoes for the Dead!

ROFL
I stayed on the first floor of a two-star on Lombard. A big fight broke out right outside my room around midnight. I think it had something to do with a local sporting event called the "World Series" or something like that. So, I wandered out to get away from the noise and the rest of my night turned into Scorceses's "After Hours" 🙂
Note to self: Never leave the hotel room.
P.S. This is all in good fun of course. I wouldn't want any San Franciscans to think I'm SF bashing. It was one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been in. I'm just a country mouse, that's all.

Any news about Burning Amp Festival for 2016?
I think the venue at Interana in Redwood City was excellent, and I hope we can go back there this year. We did make extra effort to put things back the way they were.

We sure did clean up well, in fact most of the workers there were unaware we had been there! Perfect, we really should be proud. But Interana has grown a lot and they have had to fill up a lot of those small rooms, so we've been looking at alternatives, time is running out.
