I've a Zen amp the second edition and happy with the sound.I also want to build a ZV9 .I like to know what sound is of the ZV9 compared with the Zen.
I mean that it's better by just about any criteria you name except
that it's a little more complicated.

There is a group buy for F3 pcb boards at the below link, The F3 being a very close relative of the Zen V9. You may want to

Well I shall build the ZV9 then I'll know.I already have the boards of Peter Daniel and I also have the LU's and ZTX's
One is the supply voltage filter, one is the current source from the
supply, and one is the cascode for the Jfet.

There is only one per channel.
Magura 🙂
Thanks Nelson and Maqura for your answer.I still have a few questions.First question how critical is the value of C8?I only find 22pF original it is 20pF.I also couldn't find for R1,2 and 3 the 2 ohm/3Watt mox,1,8 ohm and 2,2 ohm isn't a problem.
Not a problem. If you search, you should also find a post showing
adjustment of the power resistor values versus Idss of the JFET
for minimum distortion.

Adjust R3
I couldn't find the post, but I did find the information in the ZV9 article on www.passdiy.com - page 9 of 10 in the following:

As yet another alternative if you don’t want to test the devices, I recommend that you simply select R3 so that the Vds of the JFET in the amplifier is 2.5 volts with the output DC figure of 23 volts. More often than not, this is close to the sweet spot.
