It's pointless you building a geranium amp unless you also have another identical topology amp with silicon devices to compare with. Geranium devices are obsolete for a good reason. Just build that kit in your first post and start enjoying 🙂
If you want to check the sound of germanium output devices, I would not try to perform a diy project. You buy at best an old and used exemplare of the Braun amplifier, model "CSV 10" (CSV10) years of production: 1963-1966Thank you, friend!
Germanium amplifier because we want to hear what the sound is such an amplifier.
Those familiar sound claim to the sound of the amplifier with different Si transistors?

or "CSV 250" (CSV250) from the year 1965

Thank you richie00boy !
When I build that amplifier, there will be with my observations.
Thank you for helps!
tiefbassuebertr ..I like to build amp,not to buy,but thank you for help!

If you order the schematics of the mentioned models, you get some inspiration to your own project
you get the schematics about
Kontakt: Schaltungsdienst Lange oHG
Frend, I can't find schematic in that site.
If you can, find for me same scheme, than put this adress in my topic in this forum.
Thank you!🙂

yes, because there are the widest schematic range over the world, but only for pay and nothing for free.Frend, I can't find schematic in that site.

In the meantime I have start follow threads, where you will find even a lot of schematics from germanium and silicon Solid State amps arround the early days (between 1960 and 1970):
