There is going to be a horrendous amount of diffraction with the FR sitting in a cavity. Is it an FA22 (or its smaller sibling)?

Yes FA22. I think reflections from sides panels are, but diffraction i don’t see why it should be any much different from ordinary baffle. These Speakers are quite directional in result.
