Yet another Planar Magnetic Line Source, the SMAPPP

Perhaps I overreacted; the review wasn't that bad when I re-read it.

After having boosted the tweeter amplifier some dBs and then applied EQ on the whole spectrum and re-adjusted the toe-in to almost a straight line and raised the output volume, I measured around 95dBA at sweetspot, the sound stage got there.
At lower levels, the sound will simply not get free the loudspeakers.

But what is most important is the low distortion; all tunes my Distortion playlist now sounds great.
I just listened to Eva Cassidy's Autumn Leaves; I got goose bumps all over, or in Swedish "ståpäls".
The dynamics is incredible and the system really delivers when Eva is on the top of her voice at the end.

Here's the Distortion playlist, it contains tunes that distorted in my older speakers SLAM! (shortish AMT), SALS?A! (line source AMTs) and SOB (open baffle tops):

ah ok. well distortion is not that much higher in single ended. in the region you are using them to be fair (i mean it can be lower, but its already insane low compared to anything else, and often mainly highs look smoother single ended) i had another question i see you used 4 magnets for the mid and 2 for the tweeter, do you have a picture of the coil layout since. normally if you want the connections down under, one uses often 5 and 3 magnets. not sure if you have one connection on top one at bot? if not i would expected 2 traces in between magnets on the tweeter and one goes left and one goes right then go back to the bottom (like 2 single trace coils in series)

just looked up the P shaped foam , ill get some tomorrow 🙂

Nope, regular 3mm traces at the same distance from the magnets as for the inner traces.

Tweeter has one trace between the two magnet columns that are in series with the two outer traces in parallell; a 1+2 membrane.

The outer traces didn't affect the distortion level negatively and upped the SPL a couple of dBs by lowering the compliance of the surround.
