Too much bass -> bad sound. These speakers, with rear bass-reflex, need more space from rear wall!

The music is not the same!

The 3-ways speakers must be nominal 4 Ohms. LM3886 LOVES speakers with high impedance.

Perhaps with minimum impedance near 3 Ohms, f < 200 Hz.

Should there be a rule against posting such YouTube links as a recommendation for assessing performance of any audio component? It tells you absolutely nothing other than the sound of the computer or tablet / phone etc on which you’re viewing.

Sorry, I’m officially now a grumpy senior, and this has long been one of my pet peeves.

How did a specific chipamp focused thread turn into a series of ridiculous useless speaker sound "comparisons" ... going through at least 3 format conversions, played back by a cheesy chipamp fed by 5V and through cheesy 1" speakers is WAY beyond me.

And makes me doubt mental health of those even *suggesting* such useless tests.

Equivalent to judging a picture sharpness and true colour rendition looking through a mud and oil smeared car glass after being cracked by a stone.
