Yamaha B-2 VFET bridged ? Possible ?

Hi everybody,
I was wondering if there is a way to bridge a stereo unit to use as a mono unit ( i own 4 units)
Did anybody tried it ? Is that a huge motification (if possible at all).
Those are the famous VFET unit

If they work, I would not screw with them. If you blow the outputs, then your SOL.....

I certainly wouldn't risk it.

In theory, yes - but you would be restricted to 8 ohm and higher loads, and you need either a preamp with proper XLR output, or an external bidging adaptor. Both channels MUST operate at exactly the same level setting.
Still, I would not risk it. Double the power, and you only get 6dB louder sound, with less dampling factor and more risk.
