Thanks for all your hard work. Do you know if these forth coming PT2522-4s will have an improved and consitant quality control. The worry about that lack "pushed" me into the B-G Neos3s which I will return to P-E ASAP - pending your findings.

Final reminder to add your name to the list and place the pre-order if you are interested in the XO GB. I will close the GB tomorrow at 1pm 13:00EDT (19:00UTC). The main inductor has already disappeared and is now on back order - estimated available by June 10.

If you are on the fence about this speaker, I can assure you that this will be one of the best speakers you have ever heard.

Hi Folks,
The XSD GB is now closed. You can still order the waveguide separately.

If you are still interested in getting the crossover, it will be at a slightly higher cost since it is outside of the GB.

The parts have all been ordered and now I await for stuff to arrive and then can begin shipping in about 2 weeks.

Hey X, the C version of the tweeter is identical. It's not a different back plate, it's just a cup glued on.

I just took a flyer and trimmed off the glue fillet, it came off nicely with a strong 'persuader'.

So anyone who is in a hurry(to build, do not hurry the surgery, however minor) can get the C version.


p.s. I don't know why this is boldface, don't mean to shout.

p.p.s. the pad inside the cup looks like melamine foam, your fav.

Cool. Well there you have it folks. A clear path forward without waiting for me to get the tweeters for a GB. Get them while they are available. Save the cup and you can glue them back on if you ever decide to go for a sealed back tweeter. A longer 6in long pyramidal Dagger rear chamber would be better though.

I am going to try it myself and see how hard it is to do.
