Hi Viet,
Do you know exactly where on the thread you specify how much stuffing material, what type and where to add it? I might build a set and let Thomas hear it.
Thanks

Great idea Do if you have one of those nailers available. I would have to buy a brad nailer kit or borrow one. Funds are tight these days in my neck of the woods. Maybe I will keep my eye open for a used one.

That would be great if you can build a set for Thomas. I know he likes my smaller TL that I designed for his Galion TL.
The is a stuffing diagram at the bottom of post 1 in the main thread.

Looks like this (made by member GUJoe ):
There are also photos of the internals with stuffing and padding made by members throughout the thread.
We can do this with a GB and I’ll need people to sign up for at least 3 pairs for it work.
Let’s startup a new interest signup sheet in this thread.

TL GB interest list. Pricing as before:
The pricing will be $575 a pair in birch faced plywood or $675 a pair for walnut faced plywood.
Shipping in CONUS via UPS will be typically $150.
There is a service for shipping to EU for about $250 from the port located in NY/NJ area to most places in EU.

Come on folks, really would like to build the TL. Just a couple more buyers.
XDS flat pack group buy was same way. They eventually piled on, hopefully same here.
X, seems I remember someone inquiring about sealed smaller version. You replied, IIRC that it was about the same size as another project already being done, but requires new face plate of course. Any thoughts or additional comments? (Assuming I didn't dream this!)
Thanks,
Russellc

You are right. There was an inquiry but I didn’t see anyone else so did not bother to start a GB thread.
Without the sub, what kind of bass did this speaker generate sealed? I saw at least one version someone had ported.
Thanks,
Russell.
Thanks,
Russell.
The RS225-8 in a 24L sealed box has a -3dB point of about 55Hz. With the SB23NRXS45-8 it’s about 52Hz.
Here is the SB23 in the sealed cabinet (before I ported it). The peak at 30Hz is the room mode.

Did you measure the ported version, I didnt remember you porting yours, I thought it was another. Actually, sealed doesnt look bad
along with room lift...still want the TL.
Thanks,
Russellc
