XRK 10F/RS225 FAST TL Flatpack GB

👍…been thinking about a transmission line based on an 8” or 10” driver for bass under some front horns. This looks great…I need to read back through and see if I can wrap my head around doing it.

Hi Folks,
Progress is being made on the flatpacks! Wood is in process of getting cut. There are dowels for alignment and easy assembly. Baffles and interior channels still need to be cut next.

Excited. Been waiting a long while. Hopefully I will have it soon.

Question for X and Russell, Suggestions on the order of assembly. I have diy'd a number of things over the years and sometimes I have assembled things that required my backing up. I fear once I have glued this together I am stuck!! Hopefully not, lol.
Thanks
David

I have not assembled one myself but think you lay one side down and glue dowels in place. Then glue each piece of channel and front, back, bottom and top in place fitted to dowel. Use liberal glue to ensure air tight seals. Then add glue on all top edges and dowels and place the remaining side on top like a lid. Use clamps or add weights on top to clamp down and let dry overnight.
