If you could get the cover off, a piece of clean paper might be abrasive enough to restore pristine conductivity.
You are joking, right? These relays are sealed and to cut the cover off for a dubious clean up attempt...epic. Have you tried removing sulphide with paper? Otoh saves 3 bucks
Probably the relay may has undergone through a self-cleaning process after a lot of switching.
Any thoughts?
Relays don't do this.
It is probably just the fear of surgery, self-preservation kicking in
