I like the motorized pot.. : O ) cheaper for now..
You can get the DS1802 as samples. Controlled by pushbuton interface (anything can can make and break contacts). I will probably use QProx touch sensitive chips ($.95 each). Or a rotary pulse switch.

Volume? I'm going with the Gears. Although I might replace the blue Alps pots with some conductive plastic continuous pots.
I'm going to rip my BOSOZ apart, replace the 2 stereo boards with the X boards, and put the 4 power supplies in a separate case.
And maybe add some leds and/or make the existing ones brighter. Just kidding.

I know that Kari has made a wonderful work and service for other GB but it seems odd what now happens. Time passes and we barely hear from him.
I see some unrest from other members not hearing from Kari or not answering their basic questions such as a schematic for the final board. Not to say that I’m in a hurry since I have some other things at hand.
Any suggestions of what can be don?

As I said, no need to worry🙂 You cant be on this forum all the time, there are other things to attend to also😉 I am really looking forward to receive yet another set of Kari's superb boards😎I'll start packing and sending tonight!

Great! appreciate the update. that was about 8 days ago and the wiki does not indicate that anything was sent.
1. Anyone know whether these were sent or not?
2. Anyone got an accurate schematic showing the options?

I've asked three times on the xBosoz GP threads here and in the PASS forum and emailed Kari and have not received any reply.
I really appreciate Kari volunteering for for the GB, but some kindof reply to a question like schematics availablity would be helpful.

Thanks MegaAmp,
But I believe Kari added cascoding to the original design as a build option. It would be great if that were documented, rather than have the GB community reverse engineer the design.

Boards arrived.
Hi all, just received the boards today. They are great looking🙂
Absolutely worth to wait a bit for😎
Thanks a lot Kari, once again, for a superb set of boards🙂
Mine were sent from Finland, so seemingly his is sending them out, while on the road.
BTW, the latest schematic was never posted, only the initial sch. was. Kari did post the BOM, for the actual boards here:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=638685#post638685
All components and values are silkscreened on the boards.
Once again, the boards are just cool.

For the cascode option, Kari had discussed with me what I had used in my cascoded BZLS, and I believe he modified the board along those lines. If so, the cascode transistors are simply another pair of IRF610's, the voltage reference is a TO-92 package 10V precision reference (I used DigiKey Part# LM4040DIZ-10.0ND). The resistors feeding current to the voltage references aren't critical, with values between 10K and 50K being appropriate.
Cheers, Terry

The factual BOM is the link I posted a bit upstream😉 Sorry for the flyfishing-term😀 I checked the BOM on the boards😉
Steen.
BTW, Terry's post on the cascode thing is right, to me at least😉
