Hey, thanks mate, right thats not as bad as i'd thought. for me, it was just looking like one large pic after another, not 3 previews as above. No question the new forum deals with images better, but that wasnt as wysiwyg as normal. it'll just be a matter of finding where everything is again just like any migration.
The first design, sans waveguide was also designed the way it is, because it allows me to fabricate a rough version with 2 x 12mm MDF (or I may end up just with 1 x 30mm, the stuff I got from bunnings is really sketchy MDF and its very humid at the moment), glue, some 20mm radius Tasmanian oak quarter round edging, charcoal black paint, a drill and a router+circle jig, so its a sort of final visualisation for that. the mockup doesnt look half bad and if I had a CNC here wouldnt take much more work to mill it; as a first project.
