World's best midrange Blind Testing - Need your help.

a 5.3" to 6" long 1"ID K-tube works well as a tweeter - I don't know how practical that arrangement would be for midrange - fwiw Transylvania Sound apparently made a 2" format K-tube but I've not see the size - I've cut one 2"ID x 11" long. A good cone mid could be used with regular K-lens to widen the horizontal polar. It might take some experimentation to get it working well. 15M looks good on paper and gives more Sd vs less excursion.

The Welsh have even more right than the rest of the UK to be proud of their flag - they didnt even get a look in.

I wish I will learn about TG9, something that I have missed from XRK test.

Well, I listened only from jazz vocal performance (Norah Jones) and I found TG9 uninteresting. Surprisingly, an experienced listener (Jessica) found that TG9 was indeed not that special with Norah Jones but was special with other recordings I didn't listen to. I thought Norah Jones recording (Come Away With Me) already represented many aspects of music to be tested but it seems not sufficient.

So this time, I know you will have several recording clips, but please make a suggestion if only one clip is to be used by participant.

The tell tale sign of an excellent accurate driver is its ability to not be noticed. It is neutral and adds nothing and takes away nothing. I will have a round 3 Blind Subjective test to come out soon with upgraded hardware - sealed FAST woofer with Linkwitz Transform, a better XO scheme (Harsch BW4-BSL2 transient perfect) and upgraded high resolution class AB amp, upgraded DAC, etc.

The TG9, TC9, 10F will all be compared again. Picking new music clips now.
