I am going to abort ADIEU as a starting word. Statistically it is low in the ranks.
It must be CRANE or SLATE, from now on.
I'm test driving SLATE in the archive and it seems efficient.
I'll try CRANE soon.

I settled upon the UHF-10 strategy.

ATTENTION: UHF-10 is incompatible with Wordle's "hard mode" except when you happen to get zero hits on the first word.

I prefer the ability to score it in the second try. UHF is not my frequency band, I guess.

@STOXX I've been using SLATE as an opener for quite a while and it's worked out pretty well. In the past, I used more vowels in the opener and was skeptical of only using A and E but high use consonants have paid off too

I use UHF-10 strategy as well, and am more inclined to make sure I solve it rather than lowest number of guesses. I always use the same 2 words (for quite sometime now), and they can be hit or miss.
