Well I finaly gutted my LCD and found that it i could use about 3/4's of the screen un ubstrucked (a small strip of pcb on the bottom blockes off about 1 1/2" so I picked up a Apollo concept 2210 ohp from office depot with intentions of returning it after testing. Placing the bare lcd on the stage, fired it up and saw a beautifull winXP boot splash on my wall (backwards and flipped) but crystal clear.😱
my only problems (other than the bottom part being coverd) is that after 2-3mins the lcd starts to get realy warm, almost hot.
any ideas on how to fix that or is that harmfull?

Ah, bought it off a guy on the [H]OCP forums. I think it was from a airport or somthing.

I was thinking of proping it up and using some small case fans to blow across it.
