You might be different than most but experience tells me that holdover, interim, beta etc. projects has a way of becoming permanent. Don't paint yourself into a corner (no pun intended) with a lot of finish if you want keep motivation to do version 2.

I managed to botch the edging on the face plate, so I'll need to redo it, but here is one face plate held in place so you can see what they look like.
Texture paint didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. It's passable, but you can still see the grain through it. Probably would work better with more coats.
