Not around here. It's not a problem. Although the rich folk with river front homes in the next block seem to think so. 😉
Yeah, there are a lot of motion sensor lights around here. Some are a bit over zealous IMO, they turn on if you walk by across the street. I don't think they are solar powered, tho.
Oddly, of the many cities and neighborhoods were I've lived only in the well it places was burglary, theft or auto theft a problem. Never in the dark places. Maybe there is correlation, maybe not. 😉

My neighbor has two motion sensor lights that turn on even in the daylight. I adjusted them so they don't turn on in the daytime when he went on vacation and asked me to check the mail, bring in the trash bins.
He could have done what I did, look at the lights, go online and download the manual.
But, he's a ER physician who doesn't have time, so I helped him out.

Good on ya!
My neighbors asked the same thing about their motion sensor lights. I tried to adjust them but the controls were so corroded they wouldn't move. Probably time for new ones.

I've got raccoons, coyotes, possum that do the same thing. I point the sensor as low as it will go, but some of them still trip the sensor.
A pellet rifle sitting by the door solves the problem.
Just kidding.

I like the night time to be dark. Fortunately so do many of my neighbors. I feel lucky.
My back yard, I have one of those motion-detector double floodlights that kick on if anyone moves within 25 feet of the house.
It's all ya need.
The raccoons have made themselves right at home and constantly set off the motion lights.
Stop feeding them!..........LOL! 😀
Years back I lived on a dark, narrow and twisty street that ran from Place Pigalle up to Montmartre. Many nights I would see tourists, often drunk, wander up my street about 30-40 meters, get worried or scared and quickly return to Pigalle. They never made it around the first bend.
Then the city decided we needed streetlights. *&%! Now the drunken fools would come all the way up the brightly lit street shouting and singing at 2AM, 3AM. They loved to sit on the stairs and sing the night away. Charming. Many bags of garbage when out the windows onto heads below. You know who you are. 😀

The only feeding we do is baiting the trap.
But one took a fresh Tim's coffee of the bumper of the truck one time.
