Who makes this driver?

Hi, I heard a pair of this several years ago in a speaker called a Buckingham but cant recall the actual comany who makes them. This is a photo from an old brochure. They were over $5000 and might be a good canidate for a diy project. Thanks for the help.

Those are Professional Audio Systems 15" coax driver. It has a one inch compression driver mount. Renkus 1" you say? The JBL 2425 sounds better on this speaker. What really makes this combo sing is an active xover and biamp it. Though many were sold with passive crossovers which do fail over time. If you change the compression driver keep in mind that the delay will also need to be changed. If memory serves me, 150 micro-seconds for Renkus, 300 micro-seconds for JBL 2425. And don't forget polarity, JBL is reversed. The 3" voice coils are rated at 200 watts. But 400 watts sound so good. I think the 1W1M is 98 DB. When set up properly there aren't many speakers that sound better. 10 degrees in phase from 100hz to 10khz. Depth of field is impressive.
