I have used the Peerless SLS woofers as subs before with good results (I used the 8” in a small room, sealed box). They are great bass drivers for music. Just beware they do not have the Xmax of the XLS subwoofers and less power handling so for home cinema or bigger rooms maybe you should go for XLS instead.
