I have an old (25 years) Sansui AU517 integrated amp laying around that has an intermittent channel, and I would fix it if I knew where I could get a schematic.

I would start with doing a tere down and start soldering transisters and resisters. Sansui amps are known for that. : O ) start near the heat sink that the transisters are mounted on.
tannenbaum for schematics
Try here. You can sometimes get a scanned pdf emailed to you-THAT'S nice! They list yours for $20 for the service manual. Schematics only are usually $8.00

Sansewage !.
Sansui + 25 years old = resolder power supplies and output stages now before it blows up.
Multicore Savbit works really well for this.
Eric.

I have this same model of amplifier and I like it a lot. I have replaced its output transistors with MJ21193 and 21194 since they originally blew up.
I want to know what the three pots are for on each amp board. I know that the one closest to the test pins is the bias pot, so that's fine, but I want to know what the other two are.
And does anyone know what the Q current is supposed to be for this amp? Or the usual voltage across the test pins? Either number will allow me to adjust the bias to spec.
Thanks.
