Thanks, Dibya. I try to spec’ the highest quality components possible within the project constraints. The PCBs also have very wide high-current capable traces to minimize impedance.
My 6n2p/6cw5 amplifier was the focus the last few days. What started as a few cathode caps being replaced turned into a partial rewire. I wasn't happy with the rats nest so I put new terminal strips in and remounted the cathode resistors while I was in there. It's been running non-stop basically since as after it being out of commission all this year (hadn't unpacked most of my stuff since the move) I forgot how nice it was and love having it back. My flea amp is nice but something about a nice 20 watt amplifier just fits the bill for my setup.
I popped in here to mention because it's running on my TC9FD Karlsonators right now.
Gotta try a lightbulb-loaded mosfet follower amp soon, gotta dig through my bins and see if I have any big fets to try. 🙂

I guess whichever speaker says that it has a protection - has something like what is in JBL Control - Bulb like protection device

It is more likely a 12 volt halogen bulb in series with the tweeter. Light bulbs can have a fairly steep temperature coefficient.
The bulb will normally be a low resistance in series with the tweeter as long as power is reasonable. Resistance will increase if the filament is heated causing more heating and will protest the tweeter.

There is no 'high voltage' in a speaker that could fire a neon lamp.
I have seen some other video where its clearly seen as a Filament bulb. have yet to come accross some one from diy using such.
Yup. Its a very smart thing. Works like passive compressor. Not very hifi though. I took appart very old bose floorstanding, 3way, speakers, long time ago, and they even had those bulbs on the front pannel behind red indicator marked as overload. For overly enthusiastic home dj.
Back in the mid-1970's, when I worked in an audio sales salon, we had several models of those BIC Venturi speaker systems on display.
They also had an internal bulb to protect the tweeter.
My Advent Maestros have a 1.5A fuse on the rear connector panel to protect the tweeter.
