Thanks guys! It’s the perfect case for many Class A projects. About the same heatsink size as a 4U x 300mm chassis.
On the bench tonight is the DIYA Pass VFET amp. I brought it back to rotation and it’s driving the XSD speakers tonight. They are 4ohm speakers I know. But they are 91.5dB sensitive and I am using the HyperDrive-2 as the preamp set to +12dB gain. With the SMSL SU-9n DAC as the source. It is sounding great - I have never heard the VFET play this loud and there is a lot of bass! The spatial image is excellent. Nice vocal tonality. I’m enjoying it!
Everything but the TT and Cartridge Part 2. So many people were complaining about my choice of a distorted exploratory jazz track by Pino Palladino and Blake Mills that I made another one with track 7 - “Man from Molise” on same album. This is with EP 600.2SE amp and turntable as source.

On the bench is the new Vera-Fi Audio / XSA Labs 40W Class A amp. Just a basic fit check with the custom 23v 200VA trafos. Added the VU meters, binding posts, RCAs, LEDs, IEC, and power switch. We originally thought it would be 25W but I think I can get 40 now. Dual mono with CRC PSU’s.

Not sure if switching is the right word ? Class A amps for maybe 7 years now and include Pocket Class A, Alpha 20, ABBB, Alpha Nirvana, Glass Harmony, F5, M2, M2X, Aleph, LuFo, SuSyLu, and about 10 more amps.
