Fripp's King is always king, but this evening Wagner's Tristan und Isolde conducted by Albert Coates and recorded in the 50's, remastered & digitised. The immortal Liebestod to be understood more in mythical understanding. But aways with this grave shadow of the recent past.
This thread kicks ***! Fantastic album! Vitamin C was like hearing a mash up of Pink Floyd with a John Bonham/ Clyde Stubblefield hybrid with Bonzo on the kick, and Clyde ghosting the syncopated snare/hihat interplay. This album will be going into the rotation to share with my friends that have never heard it. Now to decide if it's the music, or a flashback. Lol. Thanks for turning me on to this! Glenn.
