This morning I woke up with some tune in my head: it was Gomorra's theme.
So later I put the whole album/songs on YT and attached the computer output jack to the sound system.
SO boring! But I like it 😱

Bjorks Utopia
John Grant and the BBC Philharmonic
And the first disk of Kate Bushes Before the Dawn - but I had to go and put the tea on.
I’ve been on a bit of Album roll of late. I think it was getting my valve amp back. I'd missed it.

Utopia (Todd, not Björk 🙂): POV
The last studio album from this band, and my favorite. Excellent early-'80s pop/rock. Scorching guitar work by Todd, especially the solo on "Play This Game." Crank it up!

Dutch neo-prog, that came out 2013. Sounds a lot like "back then" - 1973.

Garden of Elks - Delayed (recorded 27 years ago but just recently released), Swedish progressive music when it is as best.

Before having my midday coffee:
Doves - Last Broadcast. Have to say that this album is so fantastic but makes me sad in a way.

And just now:

John Coltrane - Live at Birdland. Had to give it a listen after watching a netflix biography on Coltrane. Although some of where he goes I just can't follow, his tune Alabama is heartbreakingly beautiful. Until watching the documentary I had no idea he had composed it to the speech patterns and rhythms of Martin Luther King.
Fixed a loose wire in my un-orthodox speakers and are doing my best to "soften them up".
I have played an odd mix of CDs this afternoon:
Congreso - Congreso /Chilean progg-rock)
Сплин- Сигнал из космоса (Signal from Kosmos)
Сплин- Раздвоение личности (Split personality)

Jethro Tull: Stand Up, 5.1 remix by Steven Wilson
Stand Up was the very first LP I ever bought. I love this music dearly, I feel as if it's part of my DNA. This surround version is absolute magic - just wonderful.
