It seems that woofer is nowhere close to w12cy001 in terms of bass response, tried it in 5l vented box. Membrane material also looks totally different, maybe is something much cheaper than magnesium.

Scratch that, already much better after hour of burning in. Since they were used, I expected them to be burned in already. Apparently not the case.
Wow, those look fantastic!
What did you decide upon with the crossover?
Thanks. Did not decide on crossover yet, this is the one currently in use.

Curious why you didn't offset the tweeter to better control diffraction? Beveling the cabinet sides helps, but a tweeter offset will help even more.
Nice,
Did you see Eekel's Mini at Troels Gravesen's site, zdr?
Eekels' Mini
We don't seem to be a million miles away here. Reflex is indicated, presumably. But that needs a Qts around 0.38.
Offsetting drivers is a nice theoretical idea, DickHertz, but in practise, asymetric slopes work well enough too. Hence third order on tweeter, second order on bass. But, hey, I could be wrong. Time aligned is quite the rage these days... LOL

Did some baffle simulations and did not see much difference when I was moving tweeter around.
Exactly what I would expect a competent designer to do.
Currently I'm running a Peerless 850122 woofer/XT25TG30 combo in a T/L stand mount cabinet. Really like the sound. The tweeter is fabulous. Looking forward to trying your design.

I have seen these, yes. But the idea is to be original and to use the parts I already have at the same time. I also do not like to overdo a crossover.
