The more powerful the amp the better the sound. A 400 watt amp sounds better than a 200 watt amp. A 200 watt amp sounds better than 100, etc.
Just kidding, of course. I think in this case the amount of power you require depends on the room size. Small room will work with less watts.

Yes of course the room...13' x 13' but openened on one side. A HK Citation II in triode mode makes the job with 91dB speakers.
