Just thought I would let you know.. 🙂 I am currently running dual boot Windows 98 and Linux on my machine.. 🙂
i use win ME. why? it boots quickly, i legally own it, and it actually works with the hardware in the computer.

And yes it's a legal copy(suprised).
Work like a charm as long as it work haha.
But it is really more stable than any other windows but lack dos support🙁

after each crash. I have too little RAM-memory. Only 128MB.
But I have some CDs with Mandrake, Red Hat Linux.

makes it a 🙂 joy 🙂 to read the Threads again ....

You want details? I use Win2000 and Sun Solaris at work. At home, one computer dual boots win2000 and Suse Linux 8.0. A second computer boots just win98SE, my home server/firewall runs Suse Sparc Linux 7.3 on a SparcClassic box. The other two are PCs, the dual boot is an Athlon 500, and the win98SE box is a PII 233. (Now you know why the one only boots win98SE!)
