Guess I live in the past cause that's all I mess with are tubes; Love'm. I like Papa's approach too and enjoy learning the ss side of things. There's enough similarities to enjoy both. I have some Vfets sitting in a box for a day when I decide to play around w them. All the same I look forward to building this next kit no matter how rare the parts are. its like an expensive whiskey, ill only pour a glass on special occasions
He has posted before that he had set aside a fair amount of them for repairs to the prior runs of amps and it turned out not that many were needed. We benefit from his amps being high quality.

problem I have is - whatever I do with OPT made by someone else , I feel like Lego manipulator
and I never had time nor greenies to invest in being capable to learn to make my own
maybe it is simpler than I thought , maybe not ...... now I'm too young to die and too old for that rock'n'roll ........ playing minimally with toobz (changing things in Yore amps) and not trying to make my own

build at least 1 bigger single ended like AlephJ/J2/F2 then 1 pushpull like M2/F6/F7 and lastly SIT whichever variant you choose. So you should prepare for next 3 builds
but I just decided to stop after 4 class a builds, sometimes you should declare 'enough', now I'm enjoying with building speakers. front end source (cd pro & sd card player) plus preamp and dsp project still outstanding task for me, not to mention multichannel amplifier which utilize class ab & class d

with my latest Alfet acquisition, it seems I can't resist not to build F7 clone. while my Exicon will go to peeceebe V4 class ab.
with only 3 class a collection I can allow, M2 should go away but it's front end will be good for my preamp to add a little extra guts on LX Mini xo.
