Has the Internet's greatest Cosmological thread descended to the level of monosyllabic Twitter?
It certainly looked like a competition to see who could post the fewer words!
What we certainly don't need is a competition to see who can post the largest images! 😉
I’m surprised that a private company is allowed to do stuff like this. Musk has taken liberties I don’t think he is entitled to.Yes, those are trails of SpaceX's Starlink satellites.
The guy is abominable. An ego the size of a crude oil tanker. weThe oxymoronic future. So what exactly is Elon's motive?

It seems the desire to deliver high speed broadband internet to areas that previously had none supersedes all other considerations!
I read that Musk received formal approval from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).
"The FCC believes that the proponents say next-generation satellite Internet technology could help developing countries and rural areas connect to economic opportunities currently out of reach for them because they lack competitive Internet access."
Detractors say that the subscribers to Musk's broadband system will create the trillions of dollars of revenue needed by SpaceX to achieve its primary purpose - which is to convey over 1,000,000 people to Mars and build a working and self-reliant colony.
He's gonna need loads and loads of Big Falcon (misprint) Ships! 😀

Do you think there was anything before the big bang?
Before the Big Bang what there was was the Limbo,
a place where there is no Time and no Space,
a place fit for life of energy bodies that do not need time as base.

I mentioned broadband satellite company OneWeb earlier and then thought to myself, "that name rings a bell".
A quick check shows that OneWeb was billed as Britain's "first UK sovereign space capability" and mooted as compensation for the UK's loss of a place in the EU's Galileo global positioning programme.
So, how's it going?
Firstly, OneWeb's plans to use Russian Soyuz rockets to launch its satellites into low Earth orbit have hit a buffer because of the Ukraine invasion.
Secondly, due to a take over deal by Eutelsat, France will own around twice as much of OneWeb as the UK does (although the latter will retain a "special share").

The topic may be "old", but the thread is evolving into a search for the "new" - new science, new theories, new discoveries, new technologies...
The joy of catch up awaits you! 😎
Queen died. Congratulations to our Portsmouth friend for his new king. God doesn't saved the queen . Hope he save the king.
